Introduction to sailing/Private Charter
- (2 or 4 hours. No experience required)

Private sail charter. Get sailing basics and have a fun on a private sailing boat in Lake Ontario! At the end of this Introduction lesson you be able manage sailing boat speed and steering, setup the sails and maneuvering under sails. Our certified instructor will show and teach you sailing basics on a Hunter 33 sail boat.
($400 2 hrs or $600 4 hrs, for up to 4 people)

Be a sailor in one day/Private Charter
- (8 hours. No experience required)

Private sail charter. By the end of this Introduction lesson you be able manage boat speed and steering, change a sailboat tack and point of sail. A certified instructor will show and teach you sailing basics. Sailing group lessons are an ideal fit for a family or an exciting alternative for a corporate event, where the day is spent outdoors interacting, team building and learning the sailing sport.
($800, for up to 4 people)

Start Keelboat Sailing Course (18 hours, 2 – 4 people)

Torontosail.ca offers a program designed for you to learn the fundamentals of being an active crew member aboard a keelboat. Kids must be 10 or older to receive Start keelboat certification.
($700pp, 2 - 4 people)

  • Duration: 18 hours, No prerequisites
  • Level: Basic

Basic Sailing Cruising Course (28 hours, 2 – 4 people)

Day Skipper - Sail. Candidate be able to cruise safely in familiar waters as both skipper and crew of a sloop rigged keelboat of 6 to 12 meters with an outboard or inboard motor in moderate wind and sea conditions by day. Safety, Rules of the Road, Weather, Duties of the Skipper and Crew, Seamanship, Handling Under Sail, Making Fast and Snugging Down. Kids must be 14 or older to receive Basic Sailing Cruising certification.
($850pp, 2 - 4 people)
